Triple Crown Round 3 – 11 Dec 2010, Langebaan.

Please stick to rules of usage as laid out below

1. Do not leave any vehicle on the beach, you may drive onto the beach into an area of 100m wide and 50 long from point of entering the beach, here you have to unload your boat and remove your vehicle from the beach as soon as possible.

2. All vehicles to be parked in the car park.

3. Trailers must be parked neatly next to the sand dunes and may not be left overnight on the beach.

Hobie Cat Shop

After only a few months of work we are proud to announce that the building has been completed on the new Hobie Cat shop in Langebaan. The shop has been operating on a full time basis for some time now and we are so pleased with all the support .

The shop stocks spares, equipment, sailing gear and more. These include equipment like Beach Dolley wheels for Hobie Cats and an amazing range of Hobie Cat branded clothing. New and second hand boats are also available and we also stock the range of Hobie Kayaks.

Bertie Reed at RCYC

As most are aware, Bertie was the first South African to single-handedly complete three circumnavigations of the globe in 1991and was subsequently nominated to the Single-Handed Sailor's Hall of Fame in the Museum of Yachting at Newport, Rhode Island, U.S.A. He sailed a calculated 170 000 sea miles competitively, over 100 000 miles of which were singlehanded, all of which has earned him a special honoured place among the elite of blue-water sailors around the world.

Pearly's Dial Rock Sailing Race

The first ever Pearly's Dial Rock Sailing Race will be hosted by Pearly's Restaurant on the 24th of October 2009 in Langebaan. Prize money to the value of R1000 is up for grabs, so join us for this fun sailing event. There will also be a floating trophy awarded to the winners.

Registration will be in front of Driftwoods Restaurant in Langebaan on the 23rd of October from 18:30 and for those late comers at Pearly's Restaurant on the 24th of October from 10:00 - 12:00.
