CAMP Jabulani in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, has launched its ‘Team Tusker’ programme to cater for safari goers under the age of 12.The programme is structured to stimulate and entertain younger guests, thus allowing their parents to enjoy time on their own, particularly during night-time elephant safaris. Children under the age of 10 are allowed on early-morning elephant safaris if their parents accompany them.The activity menu covers spoor identification, tracking, camp and survival basics, orienteering, basic bush cooking, baking and Land Rover orientation.
FROM July 1, Airlink will increase its Johannesburg to Pemba, Mozambique, flight schedule to two direct flights a week, operating between OR Tambo International and Pemba.In addition to its current Saturday flight, Airlink will now introduce a new return flight operating on Wednesdays.

Travel + Leisure Magazine has just completed its 2009 Worlds Best Service Awards, asking its readers to nominate destinations around the globe that "really deliver". The results were published in the magazine's June edition, and Sabi Sabi is honoured to have been voted as 7th best hotel overall in the world, the only South African establishment in the World's Top Ten category. In the regional category Sabi Sabi was voted 2nd best on the African continent.

Those who may be considering joining us for the Sardine Run next year should start looking at flights now already. The Fifa soccer world cup is from June 11 to July 11, 2010. We expect flights to South Africa to be exceptionally busy. We are a month away from our first Sardine Run trip of 2009.
