Due to nuclear winds experienced in Langebaan as of late, we have made the following changes.
Please take note.
Registration will be on Friday evening from 18h00 to 20h00 at LYC, we will also be having a bring&braai then. Time to catch up.
Triple Crown Round 3 – 11 Dec 2010, Langebaan.
Please stick to rules of usage as laid out below
1. Do not leave any vehicle on the beach, you may drive onto the beach into an area of 100m wide and 50 long from point of entering the beach, here you have to unload your boat and remove your vehicle from the beach as soon as possible.
2. All vehicles to be parked in the car park.
3. Trailers must be parked neatly next to the sand dunes and may not be left overnight on the beach.

A sailor sailing in a regatta has to be a member of a yacht club affiliated to and in good standing with SAS *SAS no longer grant temporary memberships.* Temporary Club Memberships (with SAS fees paid via the club) will not qualify you to partake in a Provincial or National Regattas.

The IHCA has put forward to the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) the recommendation that the Hobie Tiger be considered for the 2012 Olympics. ISAF has now agreed to put this on their May Meeting Agenda for discussion.

If you are experienced and just want to take the boat for the day we have options available as well. We have a 14ft, 16ft and 18ft available for chartering. Drum Africa is the only Hobie Cat school and charter company in South Africa teaching on a 16ft and 18ft Hobie Cat from the beautiful and picturesque Langebaan lagoon.
